If you are playing for the first time.

Our editorial recommendation is to learn one scenario before chasing a complete event list. The original Outbreak scenario gives a manageable starting task: follow the escape route while learning inventory and movement.

This is a learning recommendation, not a claim that one File is objectively easier. Character, difficulty and familiarity all change the experience.

If you are joining friends.

Match the File, running environment and service first. Do not buy or configure a different edition solely because its title looks similar.

A browser room and an OBSRV lobby do not become connected because both host Outbreak. Use the route the entire group can support.

Keep the two games distinct.

Use clear File and edition labels when exporting cards or reading a walkthrough. Do not overwrite an existing card expecting automatic progress transfer.

For puzzle and item help, the scenario and difficulty matter more than a generic “Outbreak guide” label.
