Compare Resident Evil Outbreak online services.

Two different community routes
RouteAccount / room systemImportant distinction
OBSRVThe community’s account and network setup. Its setup guide specifies NTSC-J game editions. Follow its supported hardware or emulator instructions.
Browser projectThe browser host’s own names and room interface.Do not enter OBSRV settings or credentials unless that project explicitly documents a connection.

The OBSRV route.

  1. Read the community’s current setup and server rules before changing your emulator or console configuration.
  2. Check that your legally obtained game edition meets its requirements. The guide specifies the Japanese versions.
  3. Create and activate your account through the community’s own site. This guide never collects your game password.
  4. Follow the hardware- or emulator-specific network setup linked by the community.
  5. Once connected, agree on the same File, area and room with your group.

The browser room route.

Have everyone use the same external project and File. Then follow the host’s edition-specific room instructions; do not infer a process from another Outbreak service.

A visible room list is not proof that the entire session will remain synchronized. If a connection fails, write down the point where it stops and the host’s message before changing settings.

When you cannot see your friend.

  • Compare File #1 versus File #2 and confirm the same service.
  • Check whether both players reached the same area or lobby.
  • Check the service’s own announcements or status page; this guide does not display a live server count.
  • Keep a record of browser/emulator version, game edition and the exact error message.
  • Share only troubleshooting details. Do not post passwords or account tokens.
