A practical way to approach the role.
Give yourself room to aim. An offensive ability is less useful if you commit while an enemy is already within reach.
For a first session, choose one job you can explain to your group. Keep your current objective and the next room in view, and avoid collecting supplies without a plan.
Know what the specialty does not solve.
A combat specialty does not remove the need to conserve ammunition or learn the route.
Keep the game edition, scenario, difficulty and running environment attached to any detailed guide you use. A different survivor or File can change a shortcut, starting item or input.
Prepare the next session.
- Check your ability’s actual input in the game you are playing.
- Agree on the scenario and the task you will help with.
- Leave room for necessary items and preserve a recovery option.
- Save and back up progress before importing another card.
