Prepare for Outbreak.
Setting: J’s Bar & the city streets. Main focus: Doors, rooftops and keeping the team moving.
Write down the game, difficulty and whether the run is online or offline. Those conditions can change which room, item or puzzle reference applies.
- Practice interaction and inventory before you need them under pressure.
- Keep space for an objective item instead of filling every slot with optional supplies.
- If playing with others, agree on the next destination and who carries important items.
Think in stages, not every item.
The first scenario moves from J’s Bar toward a rooftop escape and then out into the city. The door reference documents several connections inside the building and the rooftop barricade; use it when a familiar-looking shortcut is not working.
Our planning approach is to keep the current route ahead of optional collecting: identify the next exit, make space for necessary items and tell your group where you are going. A full completion attempt can come later.
- Inside the bar: identify the route upward and check the relevant door requirement.
- On the rooftop: keep the escape obstacle separate from optional storage-room exploration.
- Outside: take a moment to identify the current objective instead of following an old indoor route.
- Before repeating: record the condition that changed—difficulty, character or mode.
J’s Bar to Main Street: route checkpoints.
A short orientation based on cvxfreak’s original-game guide. Its main walkthrough targets Easy and Normal; character-specific steps and harder modes need their own checks.
- Leave J’s Bar for the Staff Room route. Check the Staff Room Key; the Nail Gun can help delay pursuit at the boards.
- Work upward through the building. Find the Forklift Key in the Wine Room and use it at the Liquor Room forklift to open the onward route.
- Reach the rooftop. Break the weakened barricade and follow the escape across to the next building.
- Outside, follow the street sequence. Push the relevant police cars to form a barricade rather than treating the street as another room to clear.
- At the tanker sequence, open the valve and use the Lighter, then follow the canal escape. Pay attention to the countdown.
- Continue to Main Street. Combine the Detonator Handle with the Detonator Main Unit and use the assembled device at the required point.
Scenario-specific reference notes.
Show puzzle and scenario details
The community reference lists different lockpicks by difficulty for the bar staircase, Liquor Room, Drawing Room cabinet and Rooftop Storage Room.
The rooftop barricade and several other obstacles have difficulty-dependent durability. A successful shortcut on one difficulty is not a universal route.
Use a source table with its conditions.
The linked community page includes its own difficulty and mode labels. Read those before choosing a row. A list of possible items is not a guarantee that each one appears in your session.
If your room or item does not match, re-check the conditions before spending more resources. Avoid treating one player’s route as proof that every game edition behaves identically.
After the escape.
Separate your next goal into clearing the scenario, collecting a particular item or completing optional events. Do not assume one result records the others.
